Celebrity Wedding: Niecy Nash

I love the show “Clean House” and was so excited to see it’s host tie the knot.
She used a very popular color for weddings which is lavender & had an outdoor wedding at a Church Estate Vineyards (same place Fergie got married) in Malibu, California.
Heidi Ryder took all the photos and did a fabulous job. This must have been a really fun wedding to be at. Wish I could have been there…

The cake was from the fabulous bakery in Santa Monica called Vanilla Bake Shop. Their stuff is really good.

And she followed the trend of the matching but mismatching bridesmaid dresses, allowing each girl to choose her own style & flair. Love that!!!

Celebrity Weddings: Molly Sims

The photo I loved the most in this wedding is the photo of the bride with her bridesmaids, each in their own unique dress. I absolutely love this trend and if I got married all over again I would definitely let my girls pick their own dresses based on their own styles & budgets.
The bride’s Marchesa gown was simple, elegant & romantic.
And who doesn’t love nuptials in wine country?

Celebrity Wedding: Tia of Tia & Tamera

A couple of days ago I featured the recent wedding of Tamera Mowry, the other 1/2 of the identical twin pairing of Tia & Tamera from their 90’s sitcom, Sister, Sister. I loved that show and watched it every week.
Tia and her now husband, Cory, got married at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara.
Kevan Hall designed her one-shouldered one of a kind wedding dress.
The photos were taken by Amy & Stuart and her fabulous wedding was pulled off by wedding planner Robyn Goldberg.
The bridesmaids wore styles by Tadashi, with Tamera as the maid of honor in her own style and color.
The fabulous cake was created by Cake Divas and is such a girly, girl cake. I love it.

Trend: Ombre Wedding Cakes

Photo by Caroline Tran as seen on Elizabeth Anne Designs Blog.
I love using color to help express the style of a wedding and this is such a cool and unique way to do it. It’s called Ombre, basically, you have colors that look as if they fade into each other which creates a luxurious and unique effect. Here are some amazing Ombre cakes I found.
As seen in El Paso Wedding Blog.
As seen on Project Wedding.
